Restaurant bewertenI always try to eat at a place a couple times before I write a review if I can, that being said we visited Kim 's twice now and it just got worse each time. So lets start with the menu itself, its a old time 50 's kind of place...maybe. So the menu has everything named after something of that period. So its very confusing and its simply a time waster when you literally have to read the entire menu to figure out what it is they are trying to sell you. Honestly it 's aggravating with this sort of nonsense. We (family of 4) placed our order and waited....and waited. At some point I think to myself I 'm smelling something burning....yep should have seen the sorry shape two of burgers came out as...why ask how we want our burgers cooked if your gonna burn them. Charcoal is the best description I can give for mine. Not sure of the name of it but it was a chili size said to have onions, cheese and jalapenos. It had exactly one jalapeno on said hockey puck. My youngest kids burger was no better, simple cheeseburger burnt to stupid levels. My wife ordered what was supposed to be a french dip, again with a dumb name that I 've long forgotten. The meat was chunks of some sort of mystery meat that had a very odd liver like flavor to it and globs of cheese. Out of the 4 plates ordered only one was edible. The fourth was a simple plate of hash browns that my daughter said was ok, funny thing is the menu in all of its hot mess of stupidity, none of us could actually find hash browns anywhere on it, we had to ask if they even had them. Service was below average. The place is broken into to sides of this strip mall so if you are on the wrong side you simply get forgotten about. The lady we had to pay for that garbage looked like an idiot with skinny pants on a LARGE butt so low and tight it looked like an act of congress was needed to shove that in those pant. In my opinion extremely poor taste in appropriate clothing to be representing a business. FYI these people also own two other places in town (fish place and a bar) that are either plagued with high prices or drunken stupidity (or both) on some nights. I for one will never step foot into Kim 's diner again, do yourself a favor and find any other place to go to.
My first time eating here and man...the food was good! i ordered the chorizo con huevos and biscuit and gravy soo good. they serve you with a huge amount of hash browns good amount of food for the price is worth it!
A bit pricey for this area. Food really not good. I never had chicken fried steak cooked so hard before. Won't be back again
Excellent breakfast, except the coffee had an unusual taste, perhaps the cream was bad. Wife and I, both had pigs in a blanket. If anybody has this, bring an appetite as the sausage links are fat and juicy! They battered the sausage, then deep fried it. I liked this much better than wrapping the links up in pancakes. Biscuits and gravy (not on menu) looked good as well.
I would not even rate it a 1!!!! Terrible terrible quality of food! I would rate it less than institution food.
