Club hotel - Chinchilla

We had booked. The food was excellent. The service was great. All 22 of us agredd the food could not have been better. Some of us went back for the on the weekend and the food was not as good. Mine was a bit burnt. The thing was it was a different Chef. Our Chef on Friday night had been a big fellow, tall thick set and very clean cut. the Chef on the weekend was was a fair bit older. The pokies were not good but the drinks were cold. Overall I would check which Chef was on before eating.

The Club Hotel is a place of a big variety of food, programs, atmosphere and people. It is all enjoyable!

Service - We came on a Saturday night without booking. The service was almost non existent, nobody greeted is on arrival to tell is how the place worked, we sat ourselves and got our own menus and cutlery . You order at the cash register and pay as you order, nothing new there for bistro type eating, but it pretty much ensures they don't care about how the rest of your night is going to go, you've already paid! You are then given a buzzer and go and collect your meal when it's ready.Atmosphere, comfortable , warm and good music - nothing to complain about thereFood- so the positive first, it came quickly. The negative, firstly, its super overpriced for the quality. The gluten free menu items are not actually gluten free or gluten friendly , you get the food but not the sauce etc as they use thickeners and the like, so it's not great quality anyway. Gluten free food isn't hard to make, you just need good quality ingredients and a bit of skill/ imagination. The chat potatoes I got were precooked and reheated which again, understandable, but they were cold in the middle- gross. The rest of the meal was bland. The food was eatable in the way you eat your friend's food who is bad a cooking, pick at the edges and leave it . One of the people who come and remove your plates came over and asked us if our meal was ok, I said, "um no, not really" and she walked away. None of us ate our meals.All up, don't bother, save yourself some money and go eat at McDonald's or the RSL. Clearly a place set to make money not a reputation from an area with limited options

Has a great menu with something to suit everyone! The Club offered a great kids activity pack and had an awesome fully fenced outdoor play area. Staff were really helpful. Great selection of beers for dad too.

Oh Lordy, this place went off & all weekend. It is such a credit to the management on such an incredible weekend of amazing atmosphere, entertainment & food. Everybody was having an awesome time either at the beach with Busby Marou or on the dance floor listening to the hottest dance tunes. Best DJ ever!
