Restaurant bewertenCan't rate the food because I didn't end up with a sandwich. I went up to the counter and the employee just stared at me. I waited and he said nothing, so I asked for a turkey avocado. He didn't say a one word back or really even acknowledge that he heard me. I just saw him grab bread, so I waited to see what would happen next. I waited and waited. I saw him chatting with one of his coworkers. I had no idea what was going on. I kind of shifted to the other side of the counter and looked over. No one asked me anything. At this point, I was frustrated cause I was trying to download the app and figure out a way to get the sandwich I was ordering count toward getting a freebie. There was nobody behind me or in front of me, so I just decided to leave without saying anything. Guess I'll have to wait til my next trip to try some other location. Bummer.
The food was as expected but the staff seems under trained, because they kept letting sandwiches pile up at the end of the oven. I was surprised that I actually got the right sandwich. Albeit slowly.Staff was extremely unfriendly. After the person punched in the amount at the register and told me the total, she walked away. No confirmation of payment, no receipt, no thank you. To make matters worse, they charge a 3% service fee for this kind of service.
Had the wreck sandwich with the works . It was excellent . Hadthe food at Potbellies at Navy Pier . Nice
I was a bit disappointed with my order. I got the Avo Turkey sandwich. When they asked which toppings I wanted I told them everything. I figured since there was a list of about 10 free toppings to choose from this would be easier than reading them all out loud.They nodded so I thought they understood. However when I opened it up it only had the default toppings (turkey, avocado, cucumber, mayo). I ate it, but I was unhappy because I expected it to have lettuce, tomato, mustard, giardiniera, etc which are all included in the toppings list.
It’s fine for lunch if you’re on the pier, and since it’s a chain, you know what you’re gonna get. However, this location is always very slow and they tend to be out of a lot of ingredients often.
