Duk's Red Hots - Chicago

I've been a customer since 1978, when I was just six years old, and I remember sitting inside with my father, enjoying a tasty Chicago-style hot dog. During my early teens, I would play the arcade games there. This place truly is a gem of Chicago!

A classic Chicago institution! This restaurant has been serving customers since the 1950s, which speaks to its quality. The food is fantastic, and the service is excellent! It’s a great spot to enjoy a meal with the family!

She forgot to add the sport pepper to my burger and instead put giardiniera on it, but it was okay—I got some sweet revenge! Someone who was really begging for a bite was already munching away, and while I was laughing at them, my mouth started to burn even more!

Hours are wrong on the schedule on Google maps but we got here at 5:45 anyways and they close at 6:00. the door was locked and they wouldn't serve us so the hell with this place. drove 45 minutes to get here. saw all the nostalgia on an Old Chicago Facebook group and decided to give this place a try. well I guess they really don't want customers so whatever. just took a screenshot after I made the review to prove we were here on time.

I’m planning to visit this restaurant this week while my daughters are in class. The food is delicious and served piping hot! The two ladies who work here are very sweet and simply do their jobs well. I love the fries and the traditional chili dog. The Chicago-style hot dog is perfect, and the drinks are always fresh. Parking is available on the next street, which is convenient. You really can’t beat the price for such a satisfying meal!
