Restaurant bewertenOrdered a Tofu Scramble, Pineapple Fried Rice....Tofu Scramble had a little too much turmeric, but it was tasty nevertheless. Pineapple fried rice was very good. Asked for less oil and they did so, the Thai put WAYYYY too much oil in their food. Nice meal:
I was surprised to randomly find this hidden gem! They have an entire vegan menu with tons of options and the food is delicious! We tried the Korean fried cauliflower, the khao soi and the peach tart. Everything was fantastic
We are thrilled that we chose to dine at this restaurant, despite its out-of-the-way location and concerns about a previous review regarding non-vegan food being served accidentally. The food was delicious, with a variety of harder-to-find options available. They also offer vegan desserts. The smoothie was amazing, almost like a dessert itself. The service was excellent, and the atmosphere was beautiful. I believe it would be fantastic to spend more time here during #Veganuary.
I had the opportunity to dine at this restaurant, which offered a vegan menu, during my two-week stay in Chiang Rai. I visited six times and had a great experience five out of those six times. I enjoyed the setting of the resort, the delicious food, and the friendly staff. The restaurant has a three-page vegan menu with plenty of options to choose from. It is an open-air location with water features throughout the resort, although it can be a bit challenging during peak mosquito hours. However, my sixth visit was disappointing as I ordered the pineapple fried rice from the vegan menu only to discover it had been mixed with egg. The restaurant staff also acted as check-in staff, and the server was preoccupied with checking in multiple guests. Despite the mistake, I chose not to make a fuss and simply paid my bill and left. It's unfortunate that this incident occurred, as I had otherwise been very pleased with my visits. Serving non-vegan dishes from a vegan menu is not acceptable, and it has left a negative impression. I believe this is one of the worst things a restaurant can do, especially in the context of catering to vegans.
During our three-night stay at Pan Kled, we frequented Shann Cafe for meals multiple times. We were impressed by the freshly made, delicious, and affordable food. The restaurant offers a clearly marked vegan menu, but also serves non-vegan options. The service was excellent and the staff was delightful.
