The Tea Press Cafe

We had a pleasant and speedy lunch here during our tour in Chester. It took a few minutes for our waitress to realize that we wanted to be seated, but there were only two people in the café. The menu had a good variety of options and our tea and sandwiches arrived promptly after we ordered. Everything was delicious. If we hadn't been in a rush, we probably would have tried one of their tempting desserts. The prices were quite reasonable and the atmosphere was charming. It was amusing to eat sandwiches under the vault. The historical information about the walls was fascinating to read. A fun spot for a quick meal.

The place has had a bit of a much needed birthday! Great staff, great service, will almost certainly return!! Thank you.
