Ginger And Pickles

My husband and I took our usual trip from Warrington to attend the Carols at the Church in Tarporley. Upon arrival, we had hoped to enjoy a pre-caroling treat of hot chocolate and cake, but unfortunately, the staff informed us that they were closed. Despite seeing an afternoon tea and a birthday party in full swing, we were initially turned away. After explaining that we had checked online and knew closing time was at 4pm, we were eventually allowed to enter for tea and cake. However, when my husband requested a toasted tea cake, he was told that the kitchen was closed. It seemed like a simple task that only required a toaster, which was disappointing. Additionally, as I am gluten-free, I was disappointed to find that there were no gluten-free cake options available. The poor attitude from the staff left a bad impression on us, and we have decided that we will not be returning to this establishment.

Called in to the shop Christmas eve bought a lovely loaf and mince pies that were just the best ever!!! 10/10

Lovely atmosphere, we were greeted on arrival and made it a pleasant experience for tea and scones after terrible service at another establishment for lunch. Will definitely visit your Nantwich branch soon x

The three ladies who served us were fantastic found out it was my birthday gave us a cake and candle sang happy birthday and the food was great thank you so much

Visited for the first time today and had a lovely experience. Gorgeous toasted sandwich and beautiful scone. Fabulous service and great atmosphere, we will definitely return soon.
