Nice meal here. Reasonable price for a decent size portion. Tasty food, bit of a wait but cooked fresh so I didn't mind.

Tasty meal, good beers and value for money, what's not to like?

Last the lawton arms in juni 2021 and there were 5 stars. returned several times last year and eating was always excellent. first visit this year and the place was humming. the caught beer was the best I had for months and the staff was great. Unfortunately, the fish and the chips were not as expected. the chips stood as soggy keile and the fish can have been broken with beerbatter, but it had added something that it tastes like the smell that they get when they walk past a subway. not very traditional and very disappointed. the sandwiches and sizzlers saw and smiled wonderfully, only do not expect traditional fish and chips.
