Pho 79 - Chesapeake

The pho was great. I ordered a medium and they gave a me a large but still only charged me for a medium. The food was served quickly and I’ll be back next time I’m in the area.Food: 5/5

Second time here and thought I’d give it another shot and disappointed I did. First off pho cooked for 10 hrs isn’t the best tasting pho you’re gonna get. Broth lack flavor and was very expensive for the size. Had the spring rolls and they’re not something I’d recommend at all. Very poorly put together and no mint of even a hint of flavor.

This place was decently busy. We have a pho 79 where I am from and it's delicious. So I had high hopes going in. The service was great. Our waiter was super friendly and took our orders promptly. The food was passable. I got a shrimp bun. The shrimp was delicious but the fish sauce was kinda bland which was surprising considering it usually a pretty strong flavor. And it's the biggest part of the dish. 5 out of 10. My husband got the pho with beef flank brisket. The meat was delicious. The portion was good. And came out hot but the pho broth was not the best we've had. He gives it a 7 out of 10. We also got summer rolls as an appetizer and they were mainly stuffed with noodles and the peanut was weak a 6 out of 10.

I love this place. It istop notch. The waitresses were very tentative, polite,welcomed me with good energy and vibes. The bathroom was spotless and stocked with everything needed for cleanliness. The food was divine. My order was a little complicated; I didn't comprehend what I ordered, so I was assisted by the waitress and management, they changed my order without the attitude and saved me money in doing so. It's a great place for staff outing and church outings, birthdays and just because moments, or just a date night. Keep up the great work and shout out to the cook. The food was well cooked and the sauces were so mouth watering.Vegetarian options: I had the jasmine rice with grilled chicken and two veggies fried egg rolls. You definitely get more for your buck.
