Metro Diner - Chesapeake

I liked this place so much I ate there twice. First time I had the San Francisco Eggs Benedict and the second time I had the Chicken Waffles, which oddly was my first time eating. The Eggs Benedict came with all the usual items plus sliced avocado which made it San Francisco style but the Chicken and Waffles was all that I could have imagined. The chicken was seasoned and fried perfectly and the waffles were light and crispy, served with strawberry butter. Loved this place, I’ll be back. Sorry I didn’t take many photos, I started eating before realizing I should’ve taken photos but you can’t go wrong with this place, the food and service (Shilah) was great.

Visited again! Tina was the best waitress! She had a huge group come in, but still did an excellent job keeping up with our and other tables! I ordered the chicken Benedict and it was amazing. My friend has the chicken and waffles and that was a huge portion of chicken! She couldn't eat it all. The hollandaise sauce was a little salty, but otherwise delicious. They were down a waitress, but she handled it great! Very happy with the service and food today.

My family and I really enjoyed breakfast this morning. The food is delicious. Everything was hot and fresh. The egg whites and biscuits and gravy were amazing and will definitely be back for more! Our server was amazing. Can't wait to come back!

Love this place. Keeps it simple. Good food, good prices, good quantity, and good service. Not the largest menu but they are good at what they do. Has rotating specials. Serves some alcoholic beverages and lots of different teas. Has an outdoor area. We went for brunch on Saturday and didn’t even wait. Will definitely be back.

Came here on a recommendation to have a birthday brunch with my mom. First time and food was delish and filling. Tina and her trainee were great.
