Restaurant bewertenArrived 10 min before opening and told to come back when open. No offer to sit and wait inside until then on a cold, windy day
Only 2 vegan options and one (dips) was tasteless. Won’t bother going again as not good value for money.
I stopped by for a New York toast and a light snack. I ordered dips and pita bread, but the dips were served hot and the bread was undercooked. It was essentially a disgusting and inedible dish. I ended up leaving it for the seagulls. The beer was okay since it was bottled.
Haven't been here for many years so was interested to see how it was now. Heard it had been given a bit of a makeover. The menu was ok for range except we felt for kids, the offerings are limited 3 only. Adults are catered for pretty well. The service was fast, it was fairly busy, so that was pleasing. Food was pretty good, although I felt the fish was frozen not fresh. They say salad comes with the meal, but its not salad, it's a pile of one bitter lettuce type, not good. The serves were not big, but saying that I wasn't looking for more. The kids serves are big though, too big for smaller kids, so beware. We found the outside area noisy and too glarey, ask for a table inside, it's quieter. Price wise I felt it was on the high side of what I was expecting. Overall, ok place, ok food.
This restaurant is extremely pricey. The menu options at my table were basic assembly dishes that lacked the skill of a chef. The lamb flatbread, which I thought would be unique, turned out to be just a wrap with paper securing the ends. My Caesar salad was decent, but overpriced at $26 with only a small amount of chicken. My guest had a brioche bun with canned shrimp, labeled as a prawn roll, but the ingredients did not match. The view was beautiful, but overall, I will not be returning to this restaurant.
