George Inn - Charnwood

Visited at a series of locations last year. always inviting, friendly service; good eating at a good price; well kept genuine ale, including a changing local beer. would recommend a visit with friends/ family.

Absolute favourite place, customers care excellent, food excellent, atmosphere fabulous, food presentations amazing. always goes beyond and beyond.

We eat regularly on Sunday dinner in the george and eating is always excellent. the staff is very helpful and welcoming. a great pub!

Superb Sunday roasts in a busy and friendly pub. Recommended by our Airbnb host. Husband had pork and scratching, I had vegetarian sausages with my roast. Excellent vegetables served separately, very nice Yorkshire pud and gravy (mine vegetarian). Very lucky to phone the day before...to get a table. A special touch was a couple of raspberries in husband's J20 drink.
