The portion sizes compared to the prices are also a positive aspect. As for the ribs, I’ve heard they’re supposed to be a standout dish, but our experience was quite the opposite. They were dry, overcooked, and lacking flavor when eaten without sauce. It seems like they are cooked in advance and then reheated. Those of us who ordered them, myself included, didn't finish them. On a positive note, the staff genuinely care about your experience and go the extra mile to address any concerns (shoutout to Melissa, Peggy, and the others!). They are also enforcing mask-wearing and COVID protocols. The interior and exterior are fairly clean, though a deep cleaning wouldn’t hurt (not nitpicking, just an observation). The men's restroom, however, could use some attention, especially since the toilet area doesn’t have a functioning lock. The restaurant promotes great beer and wine specials and offers cornhole along with a self-serve video game similar to BW3's. I was pleasantly surprised when I stepped into The Bird Cage. From the moment I walked in, the service and staff were fantastic! We ordered the wing platter along with a side of fried zucchini. The wings were incredible—large, crispy, and juicy. The fried zucchini was also tasty, and everything went down perfectly with a couple of refreshing drinks. I would definitely return! Poly definitely wants a cracker!

The blonde bartender, whose name I didn't catch, was incredibly busy and worked really hard. There was also another woman who was putting in a lot of effort (I didn't catch her name either). The wings were delicious, and the drinks were great. The service was excellent, especially given that they were short-staffed. Thank you so much, ladies! You're both beautiful and perfect!

Once inside, if you lean on the bar, good luck trying to get someone's attention. Despite having ten bartenders on duty, they seem far too preoccupied with serving themselves and enjoying their own time. When I ordered a draft beer, the bartender rubbed her hand along the rim of the glass just after pulling a trash bag out of the bin. I noticed many patrons at the bar left with empty drinks while the bartenders focused on the regulars. It's also troubling that the owner feels entitled to put his hands on people who aren't dressed in sleeves, while the staff is permitted to wear nearly nothing. I really hope that the ABC and the health department take a close look at this establishment—I'll be making sure to report my concerns.

I had a great time playing cornhole and enjoying drinks with friends. The place has plenty of TVs for watching sports, and the outdoor area was just right.
