Wendy's - Charlotte

This Northlake restaurant has been struggling for years. The service is consistently slow, and the staff lacks courtesy; the only acknowledgment you receive is when they take your order, and then they hand over your food in silence. The quality of the food is disappointing. The last burger I ordered had an odd smell and was clearly undercooked. The chicken tenders used to be hot and flavorful, but now they taste like a meat substitute.

I had to wait a long time, which I understand since it's vacation season. The young lady who took my order was very pleasant, but unfortunately, there was an issue with my burger. The top bun was burned to a crisp. I tried to call to address the problem, but they hung up on me. I'm planning to go back tomorrow to speak with a manager. I expect a refund and a replacement meal. I don't think that's unreasonable.

The woman at the register tonight, I believe her name is Olivia, deserves to be paid at least three times what she currently makes. She handled several challenging situations while I waited in line, and her grace and respectfulness were truly impressive. Despite dealing with a deceitful customer who invaded her personal space, she remained completely calm and professional. Wendy's should definitely consider giving her a raise, as her exceptional customer service stands out in contrast to what I've experienced elsewhere.

I wish I could give this rating zero stars! who manages this load and manages the children who are loading work in this? it's one of the most terrible wendys in charlotte by far. No one has greeted us when we are raised on the car thru. I needed them more than 10 minutes to say a word and throughout the time I saw that 4 cars left the line. eating was cold and terrible!

Drive thru Sign stated they were only taking orders inside, parked my car to walk in and the doors were locked at 7:45pm with no one in sight but the lights were on as if they were open.
