Restaurant bewertenGreat food. like eating in someone's home. the staff was very friendly and understanding, as we had little children. they are always dessert for!
Visiting Charlotte, NC we went for dinner. We saw an old program (Triple D) and wanted to go when in town. We sat right by the window (great view) and had a nice quite dinner. Prices were reasonable so I won't wait too long to go. If on a weekend, I definitely would make reservations in advance. Parking lot in back of restaurant
Made a reservation online, just in case, but didn’t need it really. We were sat right away in the upstairs area. I’ve always wanted to come here, I love the idea of a house turned restaurant. The place was cute and dimly lit, great date night spot. We got the shrimp cakes to start and I got the shrimp blt for my meal. Everything was wonderful, I only wish the blt was little saucier or at least came with a sauce to dip in. The bacon on there was the bomb though. Vegetable of the day was Brussel sprouts, also great.
We went here because of the reviews and that it had been on Diner's Drive Ins and Dives. It did not disappoint. The old home setting is very quaint. I had the grilled shrimp BLT and my husband had the special which was shrimp creole. We shared a delicious brownie with ice cream. We had an excellent server and the food came quickly and was very tasty! Glad we made a reservation as it was very busy. They do have outdoor seating, but the day we were there it was raining.
Old home, ate in the front room. Sebastian was sublime, attentive and even had the chef rustle up cheddar grits and shrimp with a touch of paprika ! The **** mary was a nice aperitif with celery, piked green olive and again changed Absolut to Stoli. Hot black coffee was a nice accompaniment. Enjoy their different brunch menu, in a good way, and service minded staff.
