Zia Taqueria - Charleston

First happened on Zia in NC near Asheville, big little bouncing Taco spot. They saw that they had a location in Charleston and had to check it. The atmosphere was pretty nice. My wife and enjoyed some great margaritas from JOSH. We had the Taquitos app and that pepper, vegetables pickled Relish was for to die when combined with the fresh Guac and Crema fresh. Next the Tacos!!! Let me just say if the Tacoglocke can sell millions and suck them.... Zia couldn't make Tacos fast enough if everyone knew how good it was. Barbacoa and Baja fish were delicious from the borders. My wife had her Portabella mushroom taco and it was also incredible. Serious people... go and have Tacos and Tequilla. Perfect place for it in Charleston or the mountains. Don't waste time anywhere else. Keep the fantastic Tacos and Tequilla Zia!!

Absolutely delicious. The dining experience was a bit odd to this first timer, as they don't have traditional servers. You go to the counter, order and pay for your food and drinks, and take your drinks to an open table, they then bring your food out to you when it's ready. Aside from that it was an awesome experience. The staff was super friendly and helpful, and every single thing we ordered was amazing. We will 100% be back, and I actually almost went back the next day. A

Great service and food came out quickly. I really liked salsa, but I had him somewhere else. The Mexican rice was blanching, even the products with the name wicy did not bring the heat. About 18 bucks were over all 2 tacos, one side or rice and one beer. So it was excellent from a price and service point. 1 star for decent taste, nothing stood out here.

The most authentic of all restaurants. From food to drinks to a family-friendly environment. I definitely recommend my followers to try it. The recipes are complicated and the staff is amazing. I'd give 10 stars if I could. The owner Kevin Grant is a very talented boss along with the team of kitchens he has amazingly surrounded his business with. All the food is fresh and in my opinion there is no restaurant nearby.

Loves the new location, much bigger and easier access from Maybank Hwy. Your service is really friendly, you can say that they appreciate that you are there. 3 different people took care of me and were very attentive. Food was great, great selection! Can't wait to come back and try her margaritas! Thanks for a wonderful lunch.
