Restaurant bewertenSam's Hot Dog Stand has locations all over, and the most recent one I checked out was in Marmet. This location is interestingly at the top of this little perch and you have to ring a little buzzer to get inside.I ordered two hot dogs with chili, slaw, mustard and onions on grilled buns. I know the traditional West Virginia-style hot dog poo-poos English-style buns, but it's hard to deny they're tasty.
Very small place usually really good hotdogs. If not for the big sign with their name on it you could easily pass right by it. With social distancing the place barley offers enough space for you and the cashier (it's that small). They were cutting up onions when I stopped by just standing there my eyes were burning like I was in the kitchen beside them.
Very Friendly and has a hometown feel to it. All patrons encourage others to win in the games provided which supports the West Virginia Schools through the lottery commission.
Seriously the best slaw dogs I’ve ever had! The two women working there shared that the chili is made in house and is very delicious. Although it was just a little hole in the wall place, it still had window stool seating for 4 and a bathroom, which is important!
Wanted to stop for sometime but now sure of truck parking, so took a chance.. small hotdog stand with nearby parking.. The hotdogs were ok but the spicy chili was very good. Hotdogs kinda small but for the price its ok.. didnt have a full menu but is pretty good.
