Restaurant bewertenGal at register wasn’t very welcoming. Latté was delicious, but I ordered a caramel macchiato. I finally tasted it once I reached the last third of the cup. Nice thing is I think this is organic and wasn’t over sweet like Starbucks. Best thing was the artisanal cinnamon pop tart!
Muddy Waters is a great place to spend some time at in the James Island Area. I got an Iced chai latte my partner got a hot lavender honey latte and a gluten free protein peanut butter bar. The drinks are on par with other local shops and are better than drinks found at most commercial chain places. My chai was smooth with a slight warmth his latte was rich and creamy. The woman at the counter was extremely kind efficient she also took the time to check in on us when the cafe lost internet to see if we had also lost signal. The cafe is filled with local artists of all kinds, painters, jewelers, prints, etc. It's covered in art and creates a great artsy environment to really soak in. Many of the pieces are for sale it's great to see local businesses supporting local artists.
Of all the coffee places we've tried, Muddy Waters is top notch. Great atmosphere and fast service would recommend the Americano, vanilla cinnamon latte, and chai. There is plenty of parking as well. 10 out of 10.
One of the best coffee experiences I've ever had. Macrons were made perfectly and that is rare to find. Cold brew wasn't acidic and was very smooth
My lavender honey latte tasted like latte flavored water and my blackberry scone had a brown clearly expired blackberry in it and tasted stale/old. I should have been turned off by the fly in the pastry case but it’s been a hungry morning
