Dead Mule Club - Chapel Hill

Ten days passed, and I still hadn't received the refund, so I stopped by to inquire about it. The bartender on duty took my name and number and assured me that the owner would contact me as soon as possible. That was a week ago, and I still haven't heard anything or received my refund. I understand that everyone makes mistakes, but I expected them to take some steps to resolve the issue.

Dead Mule has consistently been fantastic, and over the years, they've made some wonderful updates to the menu and the outdoor seating area. These changes have greatly improved the experience while still preserving the original charm of the restaurant.

This restaurant was fantastic! I really enjoyed the outdoor setting. We ordered the pork and chicken nachos, and the pork was incredible—perfectly cooked. The hush puppies were good, too. The mac and cheese was outstanding! We also tried the pork sandwich, which was tasty, but it would have been even better with more of that tender meat. The collard green egg rolls we sampled were also delightful. Overall, it’s a wonderful place to dine!

A fantastic neighborhood spot! The staff is friendly and always ready to help. The food is incredible. It's also a perfect place for people-watching. They have a small parking lot in front of the bar/restaurant, and there's a larger public paid parking lot located behind the building—just check it out on Google Maps!

The chicken nachos here are fantastic and definitely worth a try. When it comes to beer, there's a great selection, but I noticed that most customers opt for PBR. It's a laid-back little dive bar where locals, mostly older folks, gather until around 7 PM. Then, at 8 PM, the younger crowd floods in. It's definitely a spot worth visiting if you're looking to relax, socialize, or just enjoy a nightcap.
