Restaurant bewertenThis is a hidden gem! Everything that I have had has been excellent!!! From the BLT, egg salad sandwich to the tuna sandwich! (Even the sandwiches I made up) I used to go to this deli when they were in Tysons years ago, what a pleasant surprise to find it out there!
This is by far the best deli in the chantilly area. Their food is always so fresh and full of flavor! I usually stop by for breakfast. I always order the breakfast platter. They customize it with no problem! Egg white scramble w/spinach and peppers so delicious! I finally decided to order lunch as well a Cobb salad. It did not disappoint! If you're ever in the area don't hesitate to stop by and enjoy they're wonderful food and wonderful customer service!
I don't know how this place has such great reviews? Me my co-worker just ordered from here since they had a 4.8 I got the Chicken Philly onion rings it was watery tasteless it was shredded like it was the same chicken they would put in chicken salad the onion rings while huge had a horrible hard breading on them that tore up my mouth, beer battered would be much better. My co-worker got a plain cheesesteak fries which is near impossible to mess up her meat tasted like it had 0 salt pepper but she did say her fries were very good.
Had one of the best western omlettes I've ever had. It was brimming with mushrooms, onions, peppers, ham and melted cheese, and came with delicious hash browns. I love that they cube the potatoes into bite-size bits, served golden brown, and not oily at all!.Looking forward to exploring the rest of Sam's menu. Give it a try! Nice clean space to dine in, or you can go to the picnic tables in the back of the rear parking lot if it's a nice day.
I had a chicken cheese steak. Great sandwich! Perfectly grilled chicken, tender and moist, not overcooked into dry cardboard. Nice real cheese, not wiz. Onions, tomatoes, lettuce, mayo, and hot peppers (at my request). Spicy banana peppers, not jalapenos. By the way kids, you don 't put mayo on an italian hoagie. You can be excommunicated for that! Use olive oil and maybe some red wine vinegar. Trust me. Try it. It was what we would call in philly a chicken cheeses steak hoagie. and best of all good bread! You cannot have a good cheese steak or hoagie without good bread! Good crust, fresh and chewy insides...it all starts with the bread. So many sandwich chains serve tasteless spongy wonder bread rolls. Like I said I 'm from philly, but I 'll borrow a phrase from my New York friends, if you don 't have good bread fahget about it . To top it all off the people were wonderful, sweet as pie. Sam 's is around the back of an office building but well worth finding.
