Freddy's Frozen Custard & Steakburgers

This is our favorite place for hamburgers for frozen Custard and also I am a veteran myself.

I love Freddys. The best place to eat. However, the service in this particular place is the best. I usually go to one of the 2 locations on Bell Rd, but go here when I work. Staff and management take care of the guests and seem very happy to be there.

I can 't say I was too impressed with it. Let me start with the fact that they closed the lobby and lock the doors well before 6pm. Their sign in the door said Due to staff shortages, they would be closing the dining area at 6 . NOT BEFORE, AT 6. So I had to wait in the drive through line. Burger was average, and the patties were kind of thin for being 'steak burgers '. Decent flavor, reminded me of Whataburger, only smaller. French fries had good flavor. I asked for a root beer float, but was told they ran out of custard. I 'm sorry... What?!? It 's literally in your name. Won 't be back any time soon.

Though they were severely understaffed, and therefore overworked, they were still super friendly, helpful and accommodating. This is a great location, right outside Chandler Mall. The menu has some variety. The custard creations are delicious. I like the turtle concrete. So good. If you happen to visit when they are understaffed, please be patient.
