Jersey Mike's Subs - Chambersburg

I was trying to pay, but the cashier was literally dancing at the register, so I had to wait for him to get out of the groove before being acknowledged. It was awkward and weird. I only tipped 10% due to the effrontery. His associates need to police up his odd behavior or the lowball tips will continue.

The good .... the food here is excellent! The bread was good, everything was fresh. The sub almost tasted like a genuine east coast hoagie! Nice!!The bad .... the workers. Please get some adults in the room. There were about 5 or 6 very young workers, talking and gossiping at the top of their lungs the whole time they were waiting on customers.These young workers really just need some training in professional behavior, and you will have an excellent establishment.

I went in to buy a bottle of water and noticed a couple getting subs made. I waited at the register for 10 minutes without anyone acknowledging my presence. I understand that they were busy, but there were four people working behind the counter. At the very least, they could have said, "I’ll be with you in just a minute," but there was complete silence. Frustrated, I eventually put the water back and left. The customer service was quite disappointing. 7/4/2023.

I absolutely love their #13, Mike's Way, especially with banana peppers. During my last visit, I accidentally ordered a turkey sandwich instead of the #13. It was an honest mistake; the names can easily get confused amidst the restaurant's hustle and bustle. However, they promptly corrected it and upgraded my order from a mini to a 6-inch, no questions asked. Honestly, whenever I'm in the mood for an Italian hoagie, this is the place I always come to.

I really love Jersey Mike's Subs! I don't get to visit often since the nearest location is 20 minutes away. I wish you would open a restaurant in Shippensburg so I could enjoy it more frequently. Food: 5/5
