ROYAL BUFFET - Châlons-en-Champagne

We were both hungry when we got here.... and just as well. Confusing menu based on pictures not words and the photos do NOT reflect what is served up. Everything is covered in a thick, gloopy, over salted (or maybe it was MSM) sauce you can just about work out whether it's meat or fish, but good luck with distinguishing anything more. How on earth it is no. 5 of places to eat here, I cannot imagine. Service not as bad as I'd thought, having read the reviews here, but hardly enthusiastic. It gives the impression of somewhere you'd go for a works do, when you are so full of booze you just need something to soak it up. I'd rather eat a bag of crisps in my hotel room.

Finally, an Asian-style buffet restaurant that offers things that come out of the lot, it's so rare that it greets.

Very good time, good food, pleasant service. The quantity is there, the quality too...Break, I recommend!
