Alchymista - Ceske Budejovice

A warning, it was hard to order in English, and there was not really an English menu. that was the only problem I had with this restaurant. our meal was great, even if we don't have any idea what it was called. the tortar was delicious, they brought us a very tasty beer, that was not budwis. the most important courses were filled, and tasted amazing. the staff of our hotel told us about this place, said it was a special place, and of the masses that were all local, it looked like a place they celebrate, they go on termine, and have a wonderful meal. Even with the language problems, I would like to eat there again.

When we are in town, we always try to get for a great food and atmosphere. they have exterior and interior with amazing decoration and the personal is always on the look for their desire. they also make them feel comfortable and the entire experience is with toped up with great eating for a beautiful price.

This is an amazing medieval restaurant. beyond and much more important, this place has the best food they can get in the Czech Republic (we are a Brazilian couple living about 2 years)! ask for the menu of the month and enjoy the best of the Czech quest. really, it would be unfair to compare the eating here with other places close to. the same applies to the service: although they do not speak English, they will try to get them what they need, which is very rare in the Czech Republic. I wish I could give this place more than 5 stars! if they're around, don't miss this place!

We ordered the daily special. The beetroot risotto was amazing and my partner enjoyed his food (pork dish) too. Unfortunately there was no English menu for us and they couldn't speak much english, so we did struggle a bit.
