Ferny Hill Farm

Food took over an hour to arrive. One staff member kept talking to her mum and son. Our 3 children were very hungry, our 1 year old was crying a lot, she was giggling with her mum about my screaming child instead of trying to get our food to us quickly. My salmon salad was just basic salad from Tesco with a smoked salmon piece on top. Very disappointing as it has a lovely atmosphere in there. I won’t be back.

What a great café. It was packed on a Saturday late morning and I can see why, the food was delicious and the service was great. It was even possible to bring my dog in which is very convenient. I'll be going back there for sure.

Lovely place for a quick breakfast or lunch. Friendly staff and customers and nice views. Kids loved it too. One star less because it would have been great if they did chips ;

Great place ! The English breakfast was excellent and good value for money. Service is great , very helpful, and chatty waitresses! The place has a nice feeling about it ! Will be going again !

Wow, what a lunch. Just had the special which was homemade Shepherds Pie and it was the best shepherds Pie I’ve eaten in 48 years, even my dog had some and she hates peas . The staff are so friendly it’s like a home from home atmosphere. Anyone that has not been must try it. Ps I’m so pleased they’ve got a dog friendly section now, with winter approaching they won’t be able to get rid of me.
