Restaurant bewertenI went to Poplars for lunch during the Christmas season and it was amazing, as usual. I had a delicious meal of jacket potatoes and chicken and ham pie. The food was excellent and the service provided by the staff was also great. The portion sizes were generous and there was plenty of seating available. I left feeling very full and satisfied.
My friend picked me up from Harlington train centre and Poplars garden centre was close by. I was really impressed how beautifully the garden. furniture, toys, clothes, food , plants and many other items were displayed . Nothing was squashed in and it was bright airy. We went to eat at the restaurant and the food was delicious . The eating area was clean and the staff pleasant . I would definitely visit again .
Advised by cafe staff that cream scone not included in two free coffees if you buy a cake over two pounds Please make that clear in promo material (not mentioned). Otherwise really like Poplars cafe/restaurant.
I have visited this cafe a few times with my daughter, who has a dog. I believe that dog owners are not made to feel welcome here, as they are required to eat in a cold, soulless shed outside. In contrast, at Frosts garden centre, dogs are welcomed and the waitstaff even bring a bowl of water for the dog to the table.
I happened to discover this garden center while visiting the area recently. I had visited others nearby, but couldn't find the soil I needed. Despite it being 30 minutes before closing time, I was able to find everything I needed and more. The staff did not rush me at all. The place was neat, tidy, and clean, and the indoor plants looked fantastic. This place is a hidden gem.
