Restaurant bewertenThe first time for breakfast and was not impressed by the food. No cilantro or avocado. Eggs overcooked in breakfast taco or were preordered and past their time. This is a barbeque facility, so perhaps my expectations of Mexican food are too high. The service was great, lots of space to sit. Will not return to breakfast, but definitely back for lunch or dinner.
I finally tried this place after I lived in Cedar Park, I regret it. The place was dirty, fingerprints over the front doors, a full ashtray right in front of the door that you see before entering, it was like living from a Kitchen Nightmare episode. I bought several things to try out, the box somehow smelled like cigarette smoke, but maybe it was just me. Chicken I think they gave me turkey and it was so dry, so dry it was hard. I can't stress enough how dry it was. Brisket dry, dry potatoes/peat okra literally no seasoning, no salt, no pepper, nothing. French fries soggy, taste like cooked in old oil. Good God, this monstrosity. It tasted as bad as too much flour mixed with the generic brand Velveeta. Pasta is ready and muddy. Sausage Sausage was pretty good, the only thing I ended up eating. I feel bad to write this, but Lord, I regret to spend some money for this food. Go straight to Stiles Switch on the street.
9-19-22 approx. 4:30: Friendly service. CFS was meh/ok. Meat was a little hard, but crust was good. Meat slide directly from the crust. Potatoes, green beans, pint beans were okay. Mac and cheese were good. Brisket was very good and damp. Not much bbq taste or smokey, but was best part of the meal. Average ok meal.
Had a burger, it was what I was looking for a good burger. Large size and owner in the cash register. Wash money at Fast Food Joint coming by and support this little business
It was good but not exceptional. Brisket was about average, the beef rib was a spare rib so no alot of meat. Their beans better than most I have had.
