Restaurant bewertenGreat place for lunch. Was there with 2 over 80s seniors and it 's overwhelming with no paper menus (or laminated permanent ones , just the big menu at the order counter and the QR 'touchless Scan Me ' code. Neither one of my older friends uses theirphone like that... so if they were there on their own it would not have been easy. I had the grilled veggie sandwich which wasawesome but the in house aioli had spice, which was not indicated anywhere on any menu. I 'm not a spicy girl, and yes I couldask ahead if something is spicy..., but it isn 't a question I ask every time about every dish : imho it should be notedsomewhere on the food description... my companions split the fajita tacos and the black beans were noted as very good. *Theyboth have mouth issues which makes eating spicy food extremely painful another reason to inform customers about a spice heatfactor ???? luckily their dish wasn 't spicy and had a spicy salsa on the side : . The Grotto is fun, hip and had lots of funbeverage options. We tried a Raspberry Italian Soda that had half n half wiped cream it was fine. The patio looked great, and the place was busy. A bit of a rant, at all new businesses... but I was sharply aware of it at this place, on thisday Our society has taken Able ness Accessibility so very far since the 80 's... which is fantastic! The next step isaging... keeping options for ease of use and a slightly slower pace some training for staff on what issues (hearing, sight, new technology that changes from place to place, among other things senior citzens often are managing in order to enjoy socialinteractions. If we 're lucky we 'll all be able to still get out and about well into our 80s and beyond... I just hope that somecompassion and understanding becomes the norm as the automation progresses and the technology improves.
I've loved the biscuits and gravy for years. I entity this place by myself, with a group, with my kids and even great out on the patio for the dogs. The garden patio is green shady and beautiful. Lots of room and tables indoors. A favorite in Cave creek
Grotto Cafe was an amazing find! The staff was friendly, and the owner Mr. Mike was out of this world! I enjoyed all my entrees and drinks. I highly recommend the chicken salad, any of the fresh salads, and the avocado toast. I didn?t only find a greatcafe, I found a little family on vacation. You can?t go wrong by frequenting this gem!
Some cafes have great food and some others have great atmosphere. This place has both. We mostly stop by at lunch for our favorite salad or panini sandwich. Also tried their excellent breakfast menu and espresso coffee. Outside seating area wasalways popular but now it is greatly expanded and became even more popular. Inside seating area can be a little noisy due tofriendly chatter but you may also enjoy 70's rock music at the background.
Fantastic small place with inner and outer seat. Large menu with many choices. Really friendly staff and the food was great. We had a perfect table outside desert plants and artworks. Very recommended for a simple, relaxing meal.
