That's the local food. Know Portuguese people. Classic food, simple, tasteful at low price. Mostly very busy every time of the day. Reservations are required when you are in a group. Staff is helpful. Speaking English.

Care de porco alentejana was on the daily menu. It was very well prepared and tasty, but a bit light on the clams. No 1/2 servings were offered. However I left half the dish on the serving platter and only was charged 6.00 euros, not...the 7.50 euros listed on the menu. The green bean and carrot soup (again, on the daily menu) was a nice starter. This is a very unpretentious local eatery. Nothing fancy. But the lunch was satisfying.

Simple portuguese food made with good Fresh products. Best value for money in town. The staff is very nice. Very well situated in the centre with good soluciones for parking.
