Restaurant bewertenIt is a beautiful historical property centrally located near the Inner Harbour and Little Italy. Our room was comfortable, cozy and beautifully furnished. Unfortunately, it was not kept as clean as we hoped, and we were not able to use the hot tub because it was dirty. Another problem was the (included) breakfast, which was beautifully resented, but neither tasty nor nutritious. The beautiful accommodation must be maintained and breakfast must be improved. The most pleasant was the staff that was always ready to help. (especially the night shift receiver) A beautiful place in an excellent location that requires a bit of TCL.
The hotel room was nice, clean and comfortable. However, the free breakfast was nothing to write at home. I'd stay, but eat somewhere else. Enjoy the connected Baratta Steakhouse very much. I would recommend asking for a room on the back as they have sliding doors, so you can easily park and to your car from your room. Nice place to have an event and the staff was nice.
On the road. This wonderful Inn found on Trip Advisor. The staff could not be more helpful. Love how they actually answer phone and make reservations in contrast to chain hotels. I answered questions in this way that Checkin made smoother. You can book online if you want. Full place is extremely clean. Room was immaculate. Cudes to the sweet little maid. Bed very comfortable. New bed linen and towels. Good quality. Good shower printing. Hot water. Coffee in the room. Networked with decent restaurant for dinner Only negatives: spicy breakfast, pool closed. Since we stayed for one night, it didn't bother us.
Layne was the office worker when we checked in, he was extremely professional and polite. What impressed my husband and I the most is that he checked us in a nice way, then he went back to sweep and crashed he kept busy looking for things that were necessary. Very impressive as you do not seem to see that much often happy with the stay and room.
Staying here at the Carrollton has been a Huge Disappointment! We stayed 2 nights in the Bridal suite spending $140 per night and renting the room with 3 Queens for my family witch were 4 young girls and 2 adults. That room costed the same as the suite. So spending close to $400 in rooms only because they had a pool, that they shut down right before we we're going to utilize this fun feature. That was almost impossible to even get in the pool door when the desk person won't give the pool code to enter. Since I had an attitude she shut the pool down! Told me they didn't have enough disinfectant in the water. So Really, she was mad and made this story up to get even with me and shut the pool down. They are not part of a franchise so they can screw people over. All the manager offered me was a $10 discount. Their breakfast is a joke... they blame it on covid but how many restaurants have dine in right now? Almost All... even Pizza Ranch is running their buffet. Truly this hotel was a bummer all the way around. I recommend to stay in another hotel because they won't make it right with you and still charge you the same rate as they do when you get all the extras that they have. I paid alot of money for a crappy hotel. After we all left the Carrollton hotel and on my way home, (thats on the other side of Iowa) I get a phone call from the front desk asking if I checked out as I have. They are saying payment isn't going through. I have all the pending charges of 3 room payments that are 2 $135.00 charges and a $140.00 charge. There's also $5 and a 10.00 charge and have no clue why these charges are even on my account or what they would be from???? I can't talk to the desk person because she will not be quite so I can explain. I've also sent emails that have attachments showing the pending charges on my account. I called back again and tried telling her I've sent an email to please look at it and she still wouldn't shut up and listen to me. This hotel is AWFUL!!!!
