Restaurant bewertenGood food but will not be ordering from here again. First the good. We are originally from Chicago where we have lots of great pizza options. Rosati 's isn 't the best Chicago pizza but it 's a decent go-to especially when outside of the Chicago area. We 've ordered from here a couple of times. We thought the pizza was good and were really happy to find a good pizza place in our new hometown of Carmel. The reason we will not be ordering from here again is because I placed on online order for delivery. I waited 15min past the the stated delivery estimate to inquire about my delivery (which was over an hour from the time I placed the order only to be told they had no delivery drivers. What?! No drivers and zero communication from them! They said they could get the order ready and deliver it (what changed? and the best they could do for me was 30% off my NEXT order. Nothing for the current order, nothing for my wasted time and current frustration. I cancelled the order and requested a refund and was HUNG UP ON! I called back again letting them know how rude, unnecessary and unprofessional that was. I emailed corporate and got a response from this store basically saying sorry...the hang up was an accident (no one said that it was an accident when I called back our bad...we 'll try to do better...hope you consider us again . Upon that response I 've decided I tried to give them the opportunity to make this right and they did not. I 'm not giving business to a place that clearly lacks customer service and does not seem to genuinely value me as a customer. My advice...call ahead to make sure they indeed have delivery when you need it.
They gave me someone else’s pizza. I live 30 minutes away. Called spoke to a guy who said he would call his manager and call me back. I was asking for some type of credit as it was too lates to wait for a remake and drive 30 minutes to pick up. Never called back never received credit. The pizza was sausage which I can’t eat.
Ordered carry out Saturday 10/16. Always ask for well done. Also ordered a salad. No raspberry vinaigrette, no basalmic, no Caesar, no cheese sauce for dipping. The last two times in we asked for well done and it’s barely been done let alone well done. Checked it tonight before I left and once again cheese barely melted. Asked to have them put it back in the oven. They said they dropped and wanted to know if we wanted a refund. I said to remake it. For my troubles a whole 5% the next time I’m in. While waiting for the remake the phone never stopped ringing and the gal behind the counter sat there doing nothing and never answered it. I’m sure I won’t be back to take advantage of that whopping 5%! Time to find a new pizza joint in Carmel.
Wow some great pizza, and fantastic breadsticks! The 14 inch pizza says it feeds three to four, but when you get breadsticks and other small items, it really all feeds 3-4 people for a couple meals. Really good, pretty quick for the stuffed pizza, and a great value for the money. I'll be back!
Editing review due to quick reply- thank you so much. That is all I wanted- someone to confirm we would get a refund and to explain why there was a problem nicely and apologize. Appreciate it. I realize these are tough times to get help.We were very disappointed when we placed an online order, paid for it, then showed up an hour later only to be told that no one could make pizza. The door was actually locked. The only worker there apparently isn’t trained. I spoke with the manager on the phone and she was unable to provide any proof of a refund. She also seemed very frustrated. My thought is that if you can’t make pizza there should be a way to indicate closed on the website and to NOT take peoples money. Now I have to worry a charge will not be reversed and I have to call my credit card company.I know there is a shortage of workers, and I don’t want to blame the ones who show up, but this is really unacceptable. I asked for contact info for the owner but they would not provide it so I am writing this review hoping the person in charge will read it and make sure it doesn’t happen again. It is poor customer service and puts your workers in a bad position.
