Thomas's Ham Eggery Diner - CARLE PLACE

READ BEFORE YOU GO. Went on a Sunday at 1pm and was told the wait would be around 35 min. It ended up taking an hour. Pretty sure the host let his friends jump the line. After waiting that long I?m expecting food to be next level. It was a fun diner style place and had been around for years. The food was good but not sure it?s 1 hour wait good. I will say they do have a texting system where you can check your place in ?line?. So if you decide to brave the crowds drive by and get on the list and go run your errands or go shopping and come back when you are almost up. The staff was all very friendly and the service was great once seated.

The staff was really friendly and quick to notice if I needed coffee. And that place was busy when I got in. The food came out extremely quick and it tasted good as well. The food was a fair price. Everything was really good. One of the best diners I've ever been to.

This classic little diner is a rare find! Located in the middle of Carle Place, it?s the perfect place to go if you and yours are out shopping but can?t decide where to eat. We ordered pancakes and their pulled pork sandwich for dinner. Their portion was great and the taste was balanced. Pancakes were chewy, not crumbly like the franchised chains stores. Lemonade was freshly squeezed and you get about two cups from one order. The people were attentive and from overheard conversations, local folk have been returning for years. Recommended even if you live far away.

Best diner I?ve been to. Food was fresh, tasted great, and came out quickly. The stuffed mixed berry french toast is a must order. Wait to be seated is a bit long but absolutely worth it.

Always drove by and finally came in. Amazing Food, friendly staff , bit of a wait but it?s worth it. This is better than Waffle House down south. You guys have a lifetime customer now and I?ll recommend this place to all my friends and family.
