Restaurant bewertenLoved this quaint elegant tearoom. The service was good and the atmosphere was devine. Come to visit from Denver and had to stop in. Reservations were hard to come by because of mother's day week but they accommodated us. What a wonderful experience forafternoon tea. We will definitely have to make sure we visit the next time I'm in town.

If you're looking for something fun, truly unique with lots of class, which serves authentic English teas and sandwiches, along with delicious entrees, this is your place. Don't be surprised to see groups or others in adorable hats, pretty floral dresses or skirts enjoying tea and lunch/brunch. The Tea Room is covered with flowers on the walls, on the ceiling, and on tables, giving the diner the feel of being in a beautiful English garden gazebo. Delicate tea sandwiches and scones are just as tasty as their presentation is beautiful. You can enjoy a myriad of delightful teas as well, served on delicate English china with demitasse spoons and tea bag strainers. Food is delicious, I recommend the salmon quiche, tea sandwiches the soups are delicious. Points to note: Make an advanced reservation here. Although located in Carefree, it is always full. One more thing....Bring your children. PS They also offer etiquette classes for children on how to set the table, use utensils, dress for formal tea, etc. Oh, and don't forget to take your picture with the queen at the doorway. Such fun!
I saw this place on TV (travel channel blurb) and asked my dad where this was only to find out it was in AZ EXACTLY WHERE I HAPPENED TO BE VISITING! It was a bit of a drive from Chandler/Gilbert but well worth it. I made my appointment the day before and was grateful to get in fairly easily because I was by myself and it was middle of the week (Tuesday). I arrived on time but had to wait as the owner was busy booking a large party with quoted prices for a later date but was warmly greeted when she had finished. She sat me underneath the beautiful rose tree inside and I had the best view of the inside and out. My server was lovely, informing me of the specials and after a few questions I decided on the leek soup/scone combo with a small pot of tea for under 25 dollars. It was the perfect amount as I had no one to shared the tiered trays of sandwiches and desserts with. I loved my scone with jam and Devon cream or creme. The soup was delicious as well. My tea was peach and I asked for cream to make it peaches and cream ... the owner kept checking on me and even told me a funny story which made made day. I conversed with lovely ladies to my right, on a reconnaissance mission for a future bridal shower and I recommended my favorite tea called Paris Tea by Harney and Sons. They loved it and thanked me for the help. Such a lovely place to enjoy the great energy of beautiful settings, women, and scrumptious delicacies topped with soul stirring tea. Couldn 't have been more pleased. Thanking God for this extraordinary experience and for the lovely steward of this opportunity.
Fabulous English high tea experience. The place is decorated so cute with an attention to detail and clever decorating tricks. The tea choices are delicious. We got a large pot of SOHO (divine flavor) and their traditional English scones with clotted cream taste just like they came from London. Finger sandwiches and other sweets were delicious as well. The owner is terrific and cares about her business and it shows. She was there working just as hard and alongside her employees.
