Underground Public House - Carbondale

Amazing all around! Fabulous food, delicious drinks, and superb service.

Out of towner came to a great place for some amazing food, service and ambiance. Great local spot for food and adult beverages if that's what your into. Even with a hustle and bustle going the servers were still able to take care of us in a very timely manner and food came out with great presentation and still hot!!! Kudos to Underground Public house!!!

We tried this place tonight. We had a group of 7 and when we got there the hostess told us she could not seat a group of 7. We told her we were willing to split up as there were several tables open (even tables big enough to accommodate our 7). She then said she couldn’t seat us until 8 pm. We asked if they were reservation based, and she said no- but the fill up fast. We asked if we could sit at the bar, and again we were denied service. Don’t waste your time trying this place. Clearly their empty restaurant was too good for us.

Went for first time and they did not disappoint!! Everything our table ordered was very delicious. The Scottish Eggs were so good. If you haven't been there it's definitely a must.

Christina was wonderful. Her drinks were perfect. She was so much fun!!!P the steak was so tender, you could almost cut with a fork. All the food my husband and I had was absolutely the best!!We are from Indy, but we will be back here when we pass through. You have got to try this place!!!!!!’
