The Pier House - CAPE MAY

Our server, Dan, was professional, polite, and prompt. The atmosphere was pleasant (though a bit loud), and the food was excellent. Overall, it was a dining experience that has convinced my wife and me to come back. My only issue was that the drink prices were too expensive. $13.00 for a bourbon and ginger ale is excessive.

Unfortunately, we were disappointed during our recent visit to this restaurant. We had dined here before and the food had been excellent. The calamari and escargot were tasty, but the pecan crusted halibut was dry and lacking in flavor, while the papardelle was quite unpleasant. It appeared that the kitchen staff may have been inexperienced, so we may consider giving them another chance in the future. Our server was friendly and even comped the pasta dish. The restaurant itself is charming, and hopefully they will be able to improve their dishes soon.

Very attentive staff customized dishes to accommodate our tastes. Very impressed .

Always a great meal and drinks/ Service is outstanding

Our waiter, Dan, was professional, courteous and efficient. Nice ambiance(albeit a little high on the decibel level), terrific food. It was a dining experience that will cause my wife and I to return. My only real complaint was the drink prices were out of line. for a bourbon and ginger is over the top.
