The Oyster Farm At Kings Creek

Twice the price and half the quality. I'm a native and know seafood. Hope my meal in late April 2022 was a one-off, but it literally cost twice what I would have paid at Exmore Diner, 40% to 50% of cost at Island House (Wachapreague) and was nowhere near as good as either. Oysters were okay but 60% of plate was covered in mediocre french fries. My companion's crab soup was first served lukewarm (later replaced with hot fresh bowl) and her side dish was average at best. Staff were nice, however.

Solid option in the beautiful Cape Charles area. Quality of service and food is a bit up and down, which I believe is due to staffing levels. Prior to COVID 5 stars. A little more variety in the menu would be welcomed for those with a seafood allergy.

We came here for happy hour with my sister and brother in law while on Spring Break. The drinks were great. Aperol spritz, pineapple mojito both delicious. We ordered appetizers. Both the poke nachos and calamari were great. Definitely would get them again. I also ordered a bowl of clam chowder. It came out like warm and maybe 1/4 of chowder in the bowl a cup would have been more soup. Didn't care for it. Probably because it wasn't hot and mostly broth. Overall the service was great and the appetizers delicious. Would like to come back for dinner.

Was told this is the place to eat in Cape Charles. Appetizer, drinks, and entrée were a complete disappointment and for the price they charge! Hell I'm 100% confident McDonald's could out do them any day of the week and I don't even like McDonald's!!!! Spend your money elsewhere. The place way to overrated.

A group of 7 of us went for dinner on 12/9/21 on a Thursday evening. We had a wonderful waiter. All 4 of the oyster dinners were burnt, the chicken Marsala was nothing to write home about, the pasta dish with penne pasta pretty good and the scallop dish was liked. We should have complained but didn’t. They were not very busy so there should have been more attentionto the food being cooked. It was mediocre at best for all the money that we paid as we all got drinks, entrees and dessert. We won’t return.
