The Phoenix Canterbury

Visited this lovely little pub for a quick beer many times, but today was the first time I had the Sunday Roast. Excellent food excellent service, choice of 3 or 4 meats….and at 13 quid great VFM Highly recommend

This is the best place to go for a drink and the entertainment was great we had a great time the entertainment was great.

We came to Canterbury for a week from Nottingham and the Phoenix was 50 yards from the house. What a fantastic old school boozer with a brilliant real ale selection and four different lagers. Bob is a true gentleman and his wife is just as welcoming. Loads of characters in there and made us feel super welcome. This place really made the holiday and is a true British pub that sadly are becoming few and far between.

Bob and his staff are great . Unlike most, Canterbury pubs, you can have a good chat, whilst enjoying a nice drinks. Only pub in Canterbury that csters for the grown ups
