Good atmosphere, was here a few times with family who visited. They stayed next door at the Falstaff. Great location, great atmosphere.
My favorite pub in Canterbury. There were several dozen times.
I used to visit the Bishops Finger pub frequently in the early 1970s, so it was an easy choice to have lunch there. We were very impressed with the menu, especially the fish options, which turned out to be excellent. The staff were friendly and attentive to my stories of the past, as it was quiet during our visit. Although it took longer than expected to receive our food (we were hungry!), it was worth the wait. A meal of haddock, chips, mushy peas, and a pint made for a delicious lunch. The prices were very reasonable, and overall, it was a case of 'simple things done well'.
I visited this restaurant after a family party. It's a decent pub with a diverse range of drinks available. It's definitely worth dropping in for a pint or two. The pub has ample space to accommodate large groups.
