Mad Mex - Canonsburg

Not very authentic, think of it as the Olive Garden of Mexican restaurants. But not bad.

We were extremely disappointed with the quality of the food. Really surprised that the Big Burrito chain can allow such poor quality standards. My beef was as tough as leather and had no taste (not even salt) and my wife's fish too was very disappointing. The restaurant was not even crowded and even so the service was rather slow. We can safely say that we have not had worse Mexican food anywhere. The only redeeming factor was that we had an obliging waitress and the cocktails were decent.

Mad Mex Lakeside saved the day! We ordered catering for a birthday party from another establishment . 4 hours before the event they called to tell us they couldn’t make our order and offered no solution. I was scrambling to find an alternative. Mad Mex was kind enough to help out, even with just 4 hours notice! I’m already a huge fan of Mad Mex but our experience today was truly above and beyond! Thank you to the staff at the Lakeside location!

The fajitas and salads never disappoint! And the lakeside venue is just wonderful!!

We sat at the bar. Bartenders name on receipt said Dex. She was phenomenal ?
