Restaurant bewertenWe visited twice in October 2015 when staying at the Bahia Principe Akumal. Firstly we really like how the restaurant is in a building away from the main hotel, it is like going out' for the night. First time we had lovely steak for main...course which was great. But the lasagne on the hot buffet for starter was just wonderful. Second time we had pasta which was fine, but not great. The place was really busy with a great atmosphere and lovely staff. A very good hotel restaurant!
I have visited this restaurant the last two times (approximately a year apart) that I was in Cancun. The food was amazing. I recommend the Wahoo carpaccio and the eggplant parmesan, although everything we ordered was really delicious. The service was awesome and the restaurant...was quiet. Get in a cab, get out of the hotel zone, and eat here on your next visit to Cancun!
My wife and I chose Dolce Vita after thoroughly researching restaurants in Cancun. We were not disappointed! First of all, they make you feel like you are the only people in the restaurant. I ordered Lobster Bisque and Spaghetti Carbonara and thought I was getting...a good value already. However, they also brought out bruschetta for each of us and a specialty drink to have with our soup. Also, at the end of the meal, they brought out a complimentary after dinner beverage (I had brandy). The staff sat and watched for when we needed water or anything else and jumped whenever we looked in their direction. They called a cab for us, then asked us to come back in and wait when the cab took longer than expected. They provided us with desserts and drinks while we waited. I didn't even go into the quality of the food, but it was top notch! The Lobster Bisque was like none I've ever had, with less of a buttery and more of a light creamy taste. The flavors were much more subtle and delicate than with other bisques I've had. Excellent food and an excellent evening.
Muy sabroso excelente atención de todos y calidez del dueño felicidades, el precio bien con relación a la calidad de la comida
Better of the A La Carte restaurants at Luxury Bahia Principe Akumal. All the courses from appetizer to desert were pretty good. I had Cannelloni as my appetizer and it was nicely done. The main course Osso buco was the best among the three courses....It was almost done with perfection; succulent, sumptuous and the meat was falling off the bone. For desert I had Cannoli and it was well done (just a little too dry I feel). My friend had Zucchini cream soup for appetizer and it was superb! I have to admit that for a restaurant in an all inclusive resort, the quality is pretty darn good.
