Restaurant bewertenTried this place a couple of times hoping it would improve but it never has. Pizzas are expensive considering how stingy they are with the toppings. The prosciutto pizza comes with 3 tiny, tiny slivers of prosciutto and 2 basil leaves. Lasagne is just an oily cheese bomb no other flavours come through. Same with the spaghetti just tastes of oil. The location is pretty drab too, unless staring at an empty convention centre is your idea of 'picturesque '.
While the menu is limited, it focuses on great home made food served simply. This is highly authentic Italian food and service in the centre of Canberra. Tonight the special was a fantastic beef lasagne. The pizza was light and tasty. The service is very friendly and efficient. Do remember to book a table; there are only a few tables in a small coffee shop. Highly recommended.
Friends planned a quiet 40th birthday celebration and what can I say? It was perfect! Everyone is friendly. The food was gorgeous! I forgot I was not back in Italy. Went back for breakfast this morning. So good!
The porchetta was gorgeous as was the riggatoni and the beautiful waitresses and then there was the gorgeous Italian stallions. Fills the soul and the belly oh my god I could be in Como. I love them. Ballissimo. Music to my eyes and ears
We had the special which was a type of ravioli. All made on the premises and was quite frankly first class. A useful range of Italian beers and wines with staff that will take the time to explain each of these to you. Should be aware that the inside dining is limited in space but much more available outside. Brilliant for a warm summer evening.
