Restaurant bewertenI went to this restaurant for dinner. We arrived at 5:15 pm and ordered toast and soup. However, other customers who came in after us received their food first. We were informed at 5:55 pm that they had run out of soup. I couldn't understand why it took so long to make toast and soup. The toast finally arrived at 6:05 pm. I was not impressed with the service, especially considering there were only two wait staff working.
Despite the construction at the hotel not being an issue, the dining experience at the restaurant was disappointing. The half-price fish and chips was of poor quality and definitely not worth it. It was so bad that it felt like something you could find in the frozen section of a grocery store. The restaurant was also severely understaffed during a busy long weekend, making the overall experience even more unpleasant. We had hoped for a great little getaway, but unfortunately, we will not be returning.
We had a 1 night getaway in beautiful Camrose and have stayed at this Best Western many times, but this time was Not enjoyable. We were upgraded to a jacuzzi suite and excited to relax and enjoy it. When we got up to our room about 9 pm, there was obviously a non Covid party going on across the hall. The door had been left partially open to allow partiers entrance from the back stairs. We put up with the yelling and noise till about 11:30 pm. and finally called down to complain. The front desk night staff were very helpful and came up and asked them to be quiet. It went on for about another hour, and we were finally able to get to sleep, but didn’t even get to enjoy the jacuzzi. This was a disappointing night away.
We booked the jacuzzi suite as part of a romance package. It was wonderful. From the sparkling wine, delicious dinner and breakfast, along with the nice romantic touches. We got a real deal , and all covid friendly, as we dined in our room. We would highly recommend this great outing.
We went to the Matt Cage concert. The buffet was excellent and the concert was fantastic. Well worth the visit.
