Restaurant bewertenWe've been in town for 2 years now and never tried MVP, outside just seems a little dingy. We went for dinner on a Sunday and it was great. Ordered drinks and the appy platter. It says no substitutions so we ordered an additional appy, and she offered to sub it in for $3. Food was awesome for that cheap of a price, huge appy platter fed both of us. We ordered drinks with a top shelf alcohol, she came back just minutes later just to let us know exactly what the drinks would cost (worried we hadn't realized what we ordered) so we wern't surprised once we saw the bill. This was really appreciated. Happy with the service we were in and out within an hour.
Stopped here because it was beside the theatre and we were early and had 45 min to burn. We sat on restaurant side, decor was slightly outdated and it felt forgotten, like the pub side was loud and fun and restaurant side was dead silent, cold and forgotten. But the staff was super friendly and the clubhouse sandwiches made up for it, it was fresh broiled chicken breast- delish...so good with fries and onion rings. Caesar salad was great too. Salt n pepper wings were the only disappointment, no flavour. Will go back again
I ordered their special shrimp & avocado salad & my friend ordered veal, the waitress was very attentive and professional. The salad arrived on a long plate with a pile of shrimp on one side, greens in the centre & naan bread on the other side. The avocado was cut thinly & placed on the greens, but when I tried to pick up a slice, the fork couldn't penetrate it! The avocado was not ripe, the shrimp had been thawed out, the greens from a bag & the naan bread extremely dried out. The waitress apologized, took the salad away then I ordered a simple falafel wrap....what a mistake, the falafel was a torn apart in the thick green wrap, as if it fell apart in the pan & they threw it into the wrap...Disgusting! My friend 's veal was tough & chewy, must have been cooked and left under a heat lamp! This is not a place to order off the menu, they should stick to wings & nachos with drinks.Do not go there to eat but their craft beer is good!
We went up expecting to have brunch but they didn't have one but we decided to stay and have lunch. The food was good and the servings were large. A bit of confusion concerning the specials, the board said one thing and the server said another. More of a pub style atmosphere than a restaurant.
The pub was very busy and the waitress was very busy. She was friendly and did a great job serving our table. Food was hot and well plated. Delicious and good quantity.
