Jake's Tavern - Calumet-Norvelt

Felt like I was in an episode of kitchen nightmares or bar rescue. Kitchen needs a better ticket system, and there needs to be a better way for food runners to find people. A simple ticket or order number would be better than just walking around trying to remember who ordered what an hour ago. Food also takes a long time to get out. My table ordered a chicken sandwich which took 45 mins to come out, 4 tacos took an hour and I never got my order at all even after talking to two different staff members.

Great food, great drinks, and a lot of fun to be at. Even the owner Jake made me a few drinks and made me and my wife feel like we were at "Cheers. "And we can not forget the patio in the back with its own bar. So cool.

Good quiet bar with nice and respectful staff.Beer selection is not huge but enough for regular good time event. Also you can order any kind of cocktail you want. There 's happy hour deals provided as well.Food menu is decent and dishes are delicious. Kitchen works till 8 pm I believe. 3+ TVs are located in the main bar area with different channels sports streaming.So it is a great bar to go to after a long day or for have a chat with friends.

Good sports bar with great staff. Food is good and bartenders are friendly and fun to hang with if you're lucky enough to be there when it's slow. Need a spot to watch the game, they have you covered and even a TV out in the back patio!
