Restaurant bewertenCosy place with grate coffee, delicious empanadas and shop where you will find amazing gifts and souvenirs. And you can pay with the card.
Cons: I went to this store several times when I went to Cali, and the staff is never very friendly but tolerable (This is an exception; People in Colombia are usually very nice and friendly). But last time I visited, the person in this case was so rude to me and my friends that we decided to leave immediately and never come back to this place. This store is located in a dangerous area of the city, some of my friends were embraced nearby. Also, it is very complicated to park near the store so you need to go even though this is not so safe zone. If you decide to visit this place, it is better not to wear jewelry or bring your watches or phones. Pros: The place has a good selection of craft products (medium to low quality) at an acceptable price.
After a quick passage through the Galleria La Alameda, my tour stopped at La Calenita to catch a quick snack from Empanadas and a glass of Lulada (a fruit drink). When I say fruit drink, I mean you might need a spoon to eat fruit bits. Ohh, it was Tart. But with the cold ice, I could adjust and enjoy. La Calenita also has a large gift shop of Colombian Artesans. When picking up some items, I was treated to a sample of the sweet Manjar blanco, which is a kind of custard similar to the consistency of caramel, but with various ingredients. I understand that there is a ongoing debate on the definition and ingredients of Manjar blanco, Karamell and Dulce de leche of some of the foods. They're all cute for me.
