MehThis place looks amazing in the reviews and the photos, but the sushi was really bad.
I'm not sure if the high ratings are based on the demographics but I truly do not feel this establishment warrants 5 stars.
Fantastic food. Staff was really friendly and did an exellent job reccomending dishes. I personally had katana roll and it was great. Prices are quite fair and affordable.
Recently, I had lunch at this restaurant with a friend. We decided to share an order of chicken karage and both ordered the Samurai Ramen. My friend asked for no egg in their dish, so the server kindly added the egg to mine, which I was happy with. We also received a complimentary motoyaki appetizer, which included mushrooms, seaweed, and shrimp. It was a warm and delicious starter that I would love to have again. The chicken karage was unique because it was coated in a sweet Korean sauce instead of the usual spicy mayo. The breading was lighter than what I'm used to, but it worked well with the chicken. The Samurai Ramen was very filling, with plenty of bean sprouts and noodles. The noodles and egg were cooked perfectly, and I enjoyed them. My only complaint is that the ramen was advertised as spicy, but I didn't taste any heat, despite the broth being a vibrant orange-red color. However, they did provide shichimi togarashi for added spice. The pork slices in the ramen were lean, which isn't my preference, but they were larger than usual. Overall, I was satisfied with my meal and would definitely return to try other items on the menu.
