Charcut Roast House - Calgary

I ate a nice dinner with some friends tonight. The atmosphere was beautiful. The food was good and our waiter Joel was attentive and around the right frequency. I'll come back.

Really enjoyed the Prime Rib-Sapper we had here. The meal we had was part of the YYC Eats events and it was an excellent rib meal to start with half a charcuterie board and maritozzi banana cream filled sweet brioche with powder sugar for dessert. For our choice of page we had the poutin. This was a massive amount of food for 2 portions and all well prepared. We seldom ordered the meat medium and that's how it happened. It also came with a clove of roasted garlic, rosemary jus and horseradish aioli. The dessert was nicely prepared and delicious. For my drink I ordered the Marasca spray, which was beautiful and refreshing. It was garnished with lime and branded cherries. Our server was attentive and polite. He visited some special requests without missing a beat. He also kept our water glasses full during the meal without being asked. The food and beverages arrived and the meals took place. This is an excellent place for a special occasion or even a nice dinner.

Great meal from start to finish. The cocktails were excellent and our server, Andrea, was really nice, attentive and funny. The portion sizes were good and I probably had one of the best desserts (chocolate budino) I've ever eaten and I never like dessert.

We started with the Charcuterie board and bone marrow, amazingly delicious. Then 12 oz Prime Rib, Lamb and Mascarpone Polnta was delicious from this world. Then chocolate Budino and Affagoto Gelato was so delicious we forget to make a photo! The food and drinks were so amazing we will definitely be back!! I recommend this for a great night.

One of the best dinner experiences in recent memory…our table of 4 took 3 hours to dine on most of the menu and exceptional wine and the best Manhattan I’ve ever had. Our French server (name forgotten, way to much wine was consumed) made the entire experience what it was, this night will linger for many weeks to come
