Restaurant bewertenFriends and I stayed and skied the first weekend in February. Snow was great. Many people sit on the hill in the middle of the run. That's not a big deal. It wasn't a few years back. We were in room 35, I think. Don't wake up in the middle of the night. At 1:00 in the morning. I didn't want to dress and wait until someone came to fix it, we just treated it. I told the desk manager on Sunday on the way out and told her someone was calling me about it. The week is over and nobody called. I called, someone told me they didn't know anything about it and someone would call me back. Another week passed and I had to call her again. I talked to the manager who worked on that day and said she forgot the note to call me back. Said everything worked well when they checked. Not sure why I'd be on the heat that doesn't work. Customer service is less than impressive. It won't go back.
We were pleasantly surprised with the MacKenzie Lodge. It is an older property, but was nicely updated/updated. No elevator, but helpful staff and beautiful to this day room. Having Caberfae for decades never survived overnight and glad we did. We even brought Pete to the manager to swallow our bags in our 2nd floor room! Loved the hot tub (but 104 would be better than 102) and had fine meals at the Beaties restaurant right at the hotel for breakfast and dinner. We'll be back even though we're less than 2 hours away!
I love this place. The best price for skiing in Michigan. Many of the inside room to warm up, eat, take a beer, etc. I love the job they care that people do not camp at tables. You always have good food!
Wedding arrangements seemed well organised and efficient. Beautiful landscape design for outdoor wedding. Dance floor extremely small . Staff friendly and with good customer service available. Hotel Rooms in Lodge for overnight stays. Room is large. Very clean. No coffee machine. Mattress was too big for boxspring. Very unpleasant for 2 in a queen bed. There are 3 stories not elevator. A fairly long ascent with luggage. I felt bad for older customers. Very expensive for quality and comfort I would rather sleep in a camper.
No elevator and no ground floor rooms at this “resort”. Needed to share the balcony. No coffee makers in the rooms. Restaurant and food not available. Pop tarts were the complimentary breakfast. Redeeming factor was the hot tub!!
