Restaurant bewertenMy son and I have brought my parents to eat. we have all fish and chips. kinda on the expensive side, but it is worth it. the staff was fast and friendly. the meals were fresh, hot, big and tasty. ac was very appreciated as the test outside was hot, hot and hotter! no complicate thank wt pub and brewery
I've always loved the Vermont pub and brewery. I've eaten there more times than I can remember. It's always wonderful. But especially during Jazz fest, when they have great music outdoors. I had a great time. And the food was great, as always.
Not impressed. When we got here it was completely full. We were told 30 minutes, it took an hour to get seated. Ok, fine. Understandable. We sat down, the server got us a beer, and we ordered a burger. The restaurant is now half full, and it's been 40 minutes, no food, and our server has not been back to get us another drink. The burger finally comes, and it's not hot. Ordered it medium, it's pushing rare. Had to get up to get extra napkins. The manager was approachable and bought us a beer. Rushed out a new burger. Just not the greatest experience.
We were seated quickly, and ordered relatively fast. However, we did wait almost an hour to receive our food after ordering. Our waitress was very friendly though. The poutine was delicious. Everyone loved the beers they chose, the Irish Burly was so smooth. I saw a sign that their mac and cheese had won an award as best mac and cheese, so I ordered it. Unfortunately I was disappointed. It lacked any flavor, and tasted like they forgot to salt it.
I can't say it was my best first impression. The waiter dropped the ball a couple times and made a silly excuse when our food took forever. Own up and take responsibility. The food and beer was pretty good. The highlight was the live music outside, a blues duo that set a great atmosphere. Hopefully it was just a misfire and I hope to give it a second chance someday.
