Cove - Buffalo City

Great stop for burger and beer. Friendly waitstaff. Brittany was attentive but not overbearing; a happy person who was a pleasure to deal with. The burger was good especially with the tall Spotted Cow. Don 't miss this place. It 's a little ways off route 35 but worth looking for. They have a pier on the Mississippi for summer boaters. On our way to the Chicago 'burbs and glad we stopped.

Great stop along the river. I think a round was $3. We loved sitting on the porch, enjoying the river.

Had the Friday fish special, the food was excellent, service was good price was right. I especially enjoyed the all you can eat batter-fried fish.

Extremely, extremely mediocre. Cocktail shrimp in bloodies are very bland. Food descriptions on menu are inaccurate. Cooks substituted meat in sandwich without notice. Alfredo sauce is awful. Waitress was nice, helpful, and pleasant. Food is another story. We will not return.

I highly recommend this restaurant! The food is delicious, the staff is friendly, and the atmosphere is cozy and uncluttered. Just a heads up, the map location is incorrect - the restaurant is actually located on 8th and River Road in Buffalo City.
